This is a blog about my spiritual journey. So far, the focus has been on the law of attraction, but from now on I will also be writing about other paths down the spiritual road.

Gratitude 180529

Freedom of choice is a beautiful thing. I am so very grateful that I chose to use this domain for this blog, so I can write to voice what I want, but also to reinforce what I learn onto myself. Things tend to be much more clear to me when I write them down.

My political views are liberal. This is actually to a very high degree because of the law of attraction. My views are both spiritual and political – one of the things I really dislike is when someone else tells me what to do and how to do it.

If one chooses to live life only through the eyes of ones physical body, it is very easy to see the world and society as very limiting. We are dictated by rules and boundaries. Living from this point of view makes it very hard to see that we have any freedom of choice.

When we choose to live through our concious choices, things does somehow get easier. When the only thing we are limited by is our imagination, there are no physical limits to what we can achieve.

What at least I personally find a bit tricky is to shift my way of thinking about this. I have lived for many years being stuck within my physical body, unable to see further than my nose and all the limitations society and reality puts onto the individuals living in it.

I am working on a daily basis to change my pattern of thought so that I can fully understand and live by my concious choices. Going from not conciously choosing anything into very conciously choosing is not the easiest thing to do – that, I can tell you. I go back and forth between believing to not believing at all. It’s actually quite annoying. 😀

However; being liberal as I am, I very much appreciate the whole concept of freedom of choice. I enjoy the fact that I can choose to live differently from what I do now. I love the idea that I can choose to have more dogs and cats in my life. I do so appreciate the fact that I can choose a different home for myself – not feeling limited by lacking anything.

Therefore, I am also very grateful (again) for this blog. Not only can I use it as my own voice for choices and wishes – I can also use it to explain things so that I understand them better myself.
